Long Sijue remained seated expressionlessly.
No one knew what he was thinking.
The look in his eyes was still terrifyingly cold.
Qi Min summoned up her remaining strength and continued loudly, “I’m telling the truth.
Young master, if you don’t believe me, you can search the drawer of the nightstand in her room and see if there’s a bottle of pills inside there!”
Tang Zui glanced nervously at Long Sijue and looked furiously at Qi Min.

Those are really birth control pills!” Qi Min was already close to death from the beating, and her body was covered with wounds.
Long Sijue suddenly tightened his grip on the teacup in his hand.
He signaled his bodyguards to stop whipping the woman and instructed, “Lock her up.
No one’s allowed to release her without my instruction!”
Long Sijue stood up and immediately left the living room.
As he headed towards the elevator, Tang Zui furrowed his eyebrows.
‘That chick has been secretly taking birth control pills?”
Disgusted by the sight of Qi Min, he signaled the bodyguards to take Qi Min away immediately.
“Also, get someone to clean the floor with disinfectant.
What if there are some nasty bacteria from her wounds?”
When Long Sijue returned to Su Qianxun’s bedroom, his family doctor, Doctor Zhang and Zi Fan immediately bowed before him.
They stepped away from the bed and made way for him.
The man walked over to the bedstead.
He lowered his head and gazed at the young woman on the bed for a moment before he opened and rummaged through the nightstand drawer.
As it seemed, Qi Min was telling the truth, for Long Sijue indeed found a small and white bottle full of pills.
He opened the bottle, took out a pill and handed it to the two doctors.
“What kind of pill is this?”Doctor Zhang took the pill and scrapped some powder off it.
He tasted the powder before he passed the pill to Zi Fan.

Zi Fan did the same.
“Speak!” Long Sijue fixed his eyes on the unconscious young woman who was lying in bed.
Even though she was no longer in danger, her face was still awfully pale, as though it was turning into a sheet of glass.
“It’s a birth control pill,” Zi Fan said right away.
Doctor Zhang nodded as well.
“It’s indeed a birth control pill.
”

When Su Qianxun woke up, she found herself lying in bed, and there was no one else in the room.
Her throat was aching so much, and she was craving for some water.
She struggled to sit up, hoping to reach the jug on the nightstand to pour herself a glass of water.
However, she had yet to recover from the incident earlier or regain her energy.
The glass immediately slipped out of her grasp, fell to the floor and shattered.
Su Qianxun gasped slightly as she lay back down on the bed.
There was a helpless look in her eyes.

Someone pushed the room door open, and Su Qianxun turned to see who it was.
When she realized that it was Aunt Qi, there were conflicting emotions in her eyes.

Her eyes were red like those of a rabbit’s.
