Chapter 112: The Arrangement
In just a short amount of time, the time it took them to complete their battle song, the 50-men calvary squad was completely annihilated.
Other than the horses that hastily ran away, none of the Steppe Barbarians managed to leave the battle alive.
If the squad was facing a normal rescue team, then they would most likely win the fight but in front of the Divine Warriors, the barbarians stood no chance at all.
Even supposing the squad had chose to flee the instance they laid eyes on the Divine Warriors, their horses would still never be able to outrun the goats.
Not only that, the mighty spears that had a force that was similar to a ballista were inevasible as well.
Even Baiyi had joined in the fight by throwing a few spears , borrowed from Zar’Zar, at the enemy.
“As usual, these ants are still so weak!” Riding on his goat, Zar’Zar pulled out his spears one by one from the ground while he muttered.
A thought flashed across his mind suddenly and he quickly turned back and waved his hand towards Baiyi before yelling out loudly, “HEY! Brother Hope! I won this round!”
… Huh? O-Oh okay.
Yeah, yeah you win… What is this match anyway? Trying to see who killed the most? Baiyi rolled his eyes inwardly, at the same time, carefully stroking the backs of both Mia and Tisdale.
The two girls had almost thrown up just watching the bloodshed that had unfolded in front of their eyes.
Well, who could blame them anyway? It was the first time they witnessed such bloody violence after all.
“I thought you guys have already prepared yourselves mentally,” Baiyi whispered to the both of them.
“… I-I’m okay,” With a pale look on her face, Tisdale replied.
Yes, it was indeed true that she had prepared herself mentally but to actually see a real life person smashed into a bloody pulp? Well, it was still slightly beyond her mental endurance range.
“Urghhh…” Mia did not say anything.
Instead, with a slight look of discomfort on her face, she shut her eyes tight and snuggled against Baiyi’s chest, like a kitty asking for affection.
I guess, letting the two girls see some blood could be considered as training but perhaps it was a little too bloody for them.

According to Baiyi’s previous plan, they needed to reach a place that was close to the Steppe Barbarian King’s tipi before dawn so that he could carry out his next step easily but the sudden appearance of the cavalry squad suddenly brought a small change to his plan.
Looks like we have to stay slightly farther away today, I’ll have to wait till tomorrow before I can carry out my real plan!
“Hey, bro, Cuckoo told me that they have not noticed our presence yet.
Should we take this opportunity and annihilate all of them?” Zar’Zar reported to Baiyi and Huskar excitedly.

You two must protect them even at the cost of your lives!” In an exceptionally serious tone, he ordered them rather than asking them for favor.
It would be the first time he would be so far away from Mia’s side.
